Despite how terrible it sounds, it really isn't a bad skill

One way I could see this being used is having two monks, one with martyr, the other with melandrus resilience + Draw Conditions. The first would martyr, and then the second would draw and activate resilience. Not too shabby a skill
And Master X that is a tight avatar.

Martyr + Mend Condition = anti-condition monk. It's a good thing for prot. monks to use when there's another monk or two in the group working on healing.

@Rosaroni:
maybe ment ailment or contemplation of purity would work better, because mend condition doesn't work on yourself.

or just use purge conditions and get rid of them all at the same time. this skill also works well if you are a Mo/N or N/Mo in order to be used with their odd condition spells such as plague touch.

The problem with other forms of condition removal, besides martyr, is that you for some conditions, particularly Bleeding and Poison (Melandru's Arrows and Poison Arrow/Apply Poisin specifically), spread these conditions over entire teams rapidly.
For 5 cost, you could cure 7 people on a team of 8 of 1-3 conditions a piece in regular circumstances. [Since you probably have 1-2 of those yourself, already, if not more.]
The alternative is to, if they stack many conditions, use Mend Ailment to your advantage. However, if they only apply 1-2 conditions at a time to all people, it's not that effective at actually doing much of anything. You only heal 77 per cast, and remove a single condition that'll most likely be replaced very soon. Considering the reapplication speed, and the recharge time, you're not keeping up.

This can be considered almost useless which I really hate saying about this skill because Extinguish is in the house. Even though it takes 15 energy and it only removes 1 condition, in GvG burning is a popular condition to use and Extinguish heals if that's removed. Also you can see E/Mos using that with Heal Party, it's a pretty good combo.

This skill works well in Abbadon's Gate. I like to have 1 Hero with Martyr and 1 Hero with Light of Deliverance. Martyr is great for mass-removing the Dazed condition Abbadon feels the need to keep putting on you.
